If you haven't heard about it yet, read this for starters: http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-classic-publish-code-block-size/

What do you guys think about (the process of) hard-forking bitcoin in general?

And, let's assume that Bitcoin Classic will be successful, are there any implications that you could imagine regarding eMunie (e.g. a shift in the thinking or perception of the crypto community)?

I don't think we need to be worried too much about what goes on with BTC, or other cryptos for that matter.

They aren't targeting the same market, and any advertising campaigns and promotional effort we do make will distance ourselves from "crypto" to the masses.

There is no need outside of the immediate crypto circles for us to associate ourselves with Bitcoin, Eth, Doge or any of the others, we should strive to give the impression that we are separate so that the negative vibe doesn't "leak" over to us and turn our market away.

Fact is, no one in crypto is even bothering with Joe and his grandma at the moment, they are all too busy running after corps and banks, and it'll stay that way for some time...so we'll be just fine :)

You DO understand that if you hardforked bitcoin then anyone with an asic could break your network at virtually no cost to them.
The reason bitcoin works is because all the hashpower is going to secure the network from 51% attacks.
Never mind the fact that you are better of just building on the blockchain than making a new fork.
